FREEQWORLD
a federated chat protocol rendered as a 1992 multiplayer RPG
someone invited you in.
Sign in with your Bluesky handle and say hello — the run only completes for a real identity, and then your host is credited for bringing you.
Your character and your theme tune are computed from your identity — nothing is uploaded.
Signing in is what makes your work provable: witnessed runs, a face whose bytes
hash to your DID, and invitations that carry your name.
or look around as a guest ›
A guest gets a browser-only key. You can walk, talk and take courier runs — but nothing
you do can be tied to an identity that outlives this browser, so referrals, the face
check and posting your standing all need a real handle.
This is a real freeq client. When you enter, the town is generated from the server's
live channel list — every room is a real channel with real people in it.
